My name is Julia Thrul, I’ve worked in investment banking for over 18 years both in Germany and the UK, having had two successful careers in trading and project management in that field.
When I first made the decision to use my managerial skills and business expertise for people rather than corporations, I was faced not only with a drop in salary, but with the challenges of setting up a business and improving my professional skill base, as well as building up my general business skills, like marketing, from scratch.

Ashley Pearce
Ashley a client of Business Extra formed Pearce Distribution Services in 2006. This was a unique achivement as Ashley is both a registered blind person and is dyslexic. His ability to overcome all odds has now been widely recognised and he won the London Regional Final of the Barclays Bank trading places competition and hopes to win the £13,400 Gold medal prize.
