Enterprise Club Workshops for Pre-Start Businesses

In conjunction with Jobcentre Plus, we are able to provide you with the following free group opportunities to consider your options to start a new business enterprise.
It is very important for you to get involved, network with other new businesses and fully research your business ideas. To help in this process, we can provide the essential information to produce a viable business plan.
We are running group sessions for a limited period in a rolling cycle of key areas.
Typical group sessions will cover:
- Introduction to starting a business; general overview.
- Business Plan – essential sections, what is expected.
- Finance – financial forecasts, raising finance, budgets, cashflow.
- Marketing – promotion, branding, image, profile.
- Rules & Regulations – who to tell, premises, sole trader or limited company, tax & NI, insurance etc.
Each session to last 2 hours (10am – 12pm) on Tuesdays, including questions.
A ticket-confirmation for the each session you book will be sent to you by email straight after the registration. You do not need to print and bring it with you for the session(s) – it is for your record only.

An Introduction into Business – 21 February 2012 and 27 March 2012;
Business Plan – Essential Sections – 28 February 2012 and 3 April 2012;
Finance – Forecasts, Raising Finance – 6 March 2012 and 17 April 2012;
Marketing – 13 March 2012 and 24 April 2012;
Rules & Regulations – 20 March 2012 and 1 May 2012.

The website is regularly updated with the amendments to the dates for the sessions, if there are any. In case there are any bookings already made for the specific date(s) by a client, unfortunately, we are not able to delete or change the date(s) that have been already set on the Eventbrite page in advance (the system will not allow us to do it), so please make sure when booking you will always refer to the dates above in order to choose the correct updated dates for the sessions.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Please note that these sessions are only for the ones who are unemployed and live in Greater London. You will need to provide a proof of unemployment and fill in our Business Extra registration form when attending your first session.
TERMS
Bookings for the sessions are subject to the following conditions:
- Unless specifically notified, pre-booking for attendance at live events is essential. No admittance can be given on the day without registration in advance.
- Places for sessions are limited (max 16 per session). You may cancel your place at any time by sending an email to the following address: info@bizextra.biz.
- All bookings are made online through events listing pages on our website: www.bizextra.biz under ‘Events’. No telephone or email bookings can be accepted.
- Although every effort is made to run events as scheduled, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the timings and dates of the session(s) at any point up to the stated start time/date of the session(s). You will receive an email 1-2 days before the session start date informing about any changes to the session time/date.
- To avoid disappointment, please make sure you do not turn up for the session(s) without booking in advance online and you will always book for each session you will be attending as in that case we will have your contact details and will be able to send you an email informing about any amendments or cancellations of a specific session you have booked for.
